OFF GRID with ONTAP: She Who Explores

We asked Maddi also known as She Who Explores, an adventurer, free diver, and photographer to show us how she uses her ONTAP Black Edition out in the wild. The result? A day of salt, sun, and unforgettable moments on one of Australia’s most spectacular natural wonders: The Ningaloo Reef.

The Journey Begins

Stretching along the Coral Coast of Western Australia, Ningaloo Reef is the world’s largest continuous fringing reef — and one of my favourite places to explore. Our day started early in Exmouth, loading up the car with gear and heading out toward Cape Range National Park,

where rugged red earth meets the turquoise ocean.

Out on the Water

Once aboard the boat, we set off along the reef, eyes scanning the water for any signs of life and we sure were blessed.

Before long, we were swimming with manta rays, whale sharks, and turtles, and watching humpback whales wave their enormous pectoral fins from the boat.

It was truly incredible —

the kind of day that reminds you why you chase adventure in the first place.

As the sun dipped lower, we finished the day on a high and headed back to the car. Using the ONTAP Black Edition portable shower, we rinsed down our gear, not rinsing off the biggest smiles on our faces.

If you ever get the chance to visit Ningaloo Reef, take it. It won’t disappoint.

We’re so lucky to enjoy this beautiful coastal life in a setup that makes it all so easy.

Maddi runs an ONTAP Black Edition portable shower as her go-to water solution on the road. It heats up in the sun and gives her an easy way to rinse down both her gear and herself after a day of adventure.
