Must have when you are buying a roam...the fact you can interchange these tanks makes travelling with water a breeze. I have a Kaymar rear bar, so having 2 tanks is the perfect sollution

After 4 months of regular use, I can say that the Roam is better than the RinseKit Cube in ALMOST every way. Design - Roam is more sleek and utilitarian. The symmetrical sides of the cube felt awkward since it couldn't fit in the nooks and crannies of my truck bed. The roam is perfect because when it's laid flat, it fits under my BamBeds platform. Functionality - far more showerhead options, which surprisingly all get used. Whether for camping or surfing, it accommodates all my different activities well. Flexibility - Soooo much easier to charge than the Cube. I just remove the upper housing and plug it into my USB-C charger. I can't speak to the ability to swap tanks since I only have one, but i feel like that could be a gamechanger for certain use cases. Water storage - 16 gallons in Roam vs 15 in Cube. More importantly, the Roam is actually effortless to empty due to it's simple Jerry Can design. The Cube has a HORRENDOUS design flaw that makes it impossible to fully empty, even after removing the bottom plug. Battery Life - no hard comparison done, but I felt like the Roam's battery lasted significantly longer on a single charge than the Cube Charging ports - Cube has USB charging ports for other electronics, while Roam has none. Meaningless category to me though. I never used the Cube's ports to charge anything Potability - Not important for me since I don't plan to drink out of the Roam, but may be a consideration for others. The water in the Cube always tasted like astroturf and probably would have made me sick had I made it my regular drinking source. The Roam water tasted fine when I tested it. Durability - This is where the Cube shines. Thing is built like a tank and survived years of abuse before I sold it. My Roam actually came damaged upon arrival (see pic), but it didn't bother me enough to complain. I also needed it that weekend and the Aus -> US shipping time is too long. Even so, after months of use I can see other microcracks along the plastic that houses the battery and hose unit. Pressure - Cube has a slight leg up here but the difference is trivial. Overall, I'm impressed by the Roam and would buy it again over the Cube, despite my concerns about durability. I also haven't had it long enough to grade its longevity but I'm hoping for the best.
It’s a solid system. Let me give you the full picture. The all-black containers are a smart design choice for camp life — leave them in the sun and the water heats up fast, which is genuinely brilliant for a camp shower or washing up. Just worth keeping in mind if that particular jerry is carrying your drinking water, as it’ll warm up quickly in direct sun. The twist-dial connection between the pump head and jerry can is a neat sealing system, though on a full jerry it can seep slightly. In dusty outback conditions that dial can clog after a day on dirt roads — a screwdriver sorts it, but it’s something to stay on top of. A simple neoprene dust cover over the pump head while driving would be an easy fix, and one worth considering for future versions. The hose storage wraps neatly around the pump head, keeping everything compact. The one trade-off is that you need the pump unit in place to strap the jerry down securely. A small slot in the wing flaps for a cam buckle to pass through would solve that cleanly. Everything is drinking water safe, and the same pump head works across multiple jerry cans — great versatility. Just be mindful of cross-contamination if one jerry is carrying grey water, as residue can sit in the lines. Battery life has been good, it handles rain without complaint, and just make sure the USB charging port cover is properly seated. The real test comes in July — a month in the Kimberley, corrugations, bulldust, and hard daily use. All the signs so far suggest it’ll hold up.
Just got my Ontap Black Edition. Shipping was really fast and smooth and the product is way better than expected. The quality is amazing , very sturdy but lightweight and works really good! Have to say that the pressure of the water is amazing. The size is perfect as well so you can take it on any car (I own a Suzuki Jimny). Can't wait to take it to my next trip to the beach. 10/10 product

This new ontap product is a game changer for anyone! The compact slick design, fast charging, long lasting battery is very good. We love that we can now use our ontap anywhere and in any car, with it being chargeable.
Works great. Good pressure for a shower. I heated a half jerry it in the sun during the day and added a litre of boiling water at night to make it nice and hot. Battery lasts a long time. I had seven hours and it’s still on the highest level of charge.
Running the OnTap Roam with the extra water tank in my overlanding Tacoma has been one of the most useful upgrades in my setup. The OnTap Roam gives me pressurized water anywhere I park. I’ve got it paired with the OnTap Extra Water Tank, which basically doubles my usable water on longer trips. For overlanding, that extra capacity is huge, it means I can stretch a trip without constantly hunting for water stops. What I like most is how simple the system is. The pump is strong enough for rinsing dishes, washing hands, or spraying down gear (and the dog) after a muddy trail day. Setup was straightforward, you push a button and it just works. The battery life has also been solid, I’ve gone multiple days of normal camp use without needing to recharge. The extra tank is worth it if you’re doing multi-day trips. It keeps everything modular, so you can run one tank for quick weekends or both when you’re deeper out. Overall, the OnTap Roam setup has become one of those pieces of gear I use constantly but don’t have to think about, which is exactly what you want in an overlanding rig.

We just made a 3 day camp trip through Colorado, Utah and Nevada. The flexibility of the roam on our trip was fantastic. Drinking water, food prep, cooking, washing hands, washing up dishes. The long hose went wherever we needed it to keep the mess away from our truck. Or to take the water to our cooking setup.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE the product. Best upgrade to my Jimny.
Can't rate this product more highly. I have the original one as well, but I've always wanted a water system built into the Troopy for ease of use. But this solves that problem for a fraction of the price and it's portable! Great system and worth every cent!
We are obsessed with our ROAM! It’s is SO easy and convenient, we have one that lives in the back of the car and we haven’t had to recharge it for like 10 days and we’ve been at the beach daily. SO handy for rinsing after the beach, for the dogs, washing our surfboards, camping and boating etc. A legitimate game changer for us.
I've owned the original portable shower for several years now. The ROAM is different in that it's 'always on'.. I've freed up the ciggie socket in the tub in the ute. I've used the system for rinsing dive gear, post dive showers, fresh water when camping and/or out with the doggo. The pressure of the pump is sensational. It fits into the Ranger bracket I had previously and with an M8 bolt, have mounted the hose holder in the back of the ute. Great system!
I was a bit skeptical at first considering the price tag but after taking it out for the first time on a long surf trip its value became pretty clear. Works a treat, love the quality of the product.

It is a great system for touring. Carry water in the back of the 4WD without having to lift out a water container. Just use the 12 v socket in the back. When empty just fill it up where is sits. Very happy with it a must have for your 4WD
Biggest waste of packaging I have ever experienced. A massive box for 2 items that would have fit in an envelope. You need to do better. The items were lucky they weren’t damaged as there was nothing stopping them from crashing around. I bet this review doesn’t make it to your website.
I installed the Ontap system under the engine cover of my old Bertram 25. Wired in a small switch under the gunnel combing in the back corner so I can turn it on when I want (the switch on the ontap lead stays on all the time). The hose lives in the transom hatch and is pulled out when necessary. Added bonus is the engine heats up the water!
